Week 1 on the newly renamed Halftime Ministries flag football league was played over the past few weekends and boy, was it crazy. SDCF Fire and the ICC Warriors opened up the league with a great game in the rain that would go into overtime. However, neither team was able to score any points in the end and the final score goes down as a tie: 6-6. The SPA Ambassadors did not fare so well against the LOCF Yay, getting shutout 13-0. The NBCC Soul-UMC Classys game would only play for a half before being postponed and resumed a week later. NBCC would go on to win in what turned out to be a incredibly exciting game: 21-14.
