Week 2 of the flag football league began with a hotly contested matchup between the Ambassadors and Soul. The highly defensive game would end regulation locked up in a 0-0 tie, sending it into overtime. NBCC began overtime with possession. However, neither team was still able to score until SPA finally ran broke one away after a short pass. But it was not meant to be as NBCC, on the final drive, marched down the field and scored a touchdown along with the extra point to take a 7-6 victory.
The SDCF-LOCF game turned was a lopsided one with a final score of Yay 0 – Fire 25. LOCF came strong and made the most of their early possessions. On the other hand, SDCF would turn the ball over 5 times on interceptions throughout the game while only taking away one themselves. The Yay capitalized on the miscues to built a large lead and cruised onto a win.
UMC and ICC played an evenly matched game. The score was close the entire game with the Classys scoring a touchdown first and the Warriors eventually coming back to knot it back up. UMC would later go on to add another touchdown and an extra point, leaving ICC with just enough time for one last drive. However, one errant throw lead to a big interception, allowing UMC to run the clock out and take it all, 13-6.
